Hello all Sparkling Korean listeners!

My name is Alex. I'm the one who 지원 (Geeone...practice your hangul!) has talked about in previous podcasts.

Starting next week I will be helping 지원 with this blog, doing some formatting, editing, and work on the layout. I hope you will appreciate the aesthetic changes that will begin to take place over the next few weeks.

Also, I will be posting occasionally just to keep things rolling.

About me:
Name: Alexander Ristich
Age: 18 years old
Location: Saugus, California, USA...I will be moving to Vancouver, BC, Canada in two months to attend the University of British Columbia
Why Korean?: After befriending a few students from Korea who came to my high school to study I developed an interest in the language, culture, and people. I have been learning Korean in my spare time for the past year and a half or so but will be taking a university course come September to accelerate my learning.

In closing, I just want to say that I am very thankful that 지원 began this podcast and have learned a lot of phrases from it that will be very useful in the future (Like: "누나, 밥 사주새요~~") :D

I can be reached at biolife04@hotmail.com if any of you have any questions or suggestions.
Thanks!

-알렉스

안녕하세요 알렉스! 나는 멜리사 입니다.

I just came across Sparkling Korean today and have to say it is one of the better 한국어 팟캐스팅 sites I have been too.

Keep up the good work 지원 & 알렉스!

Ah, glad to help out, Melissa (or should I say 멜리사 :P)

Our hope is to make the SK blog attractive to the readers so that they can enjoy looking at it and reading it.

Thanks! It's nice to know you like it! :D
