Korean BBQ

I'm sure we've all heard of Korean BBQ at one time or another. However, I wonder how many of us have tried it before.
I had the opportunity two months ago to go to a nice restaurant in Los Angeles with some friends to eat some classic Korean BBQ. It was also a great opportunity to practice some of my Korean. Thankfully I was in North America so they understood English if I couldn't get the point across, but to be able to use simple phrases like, "물 주세요?" and "감사합니다" was wonderful!

Being that 지원 spent an entire episode devoted to teaching us how to order food, I think it's time that some of us put our skills to the test.
If not for the language practice then for the food, I recommend that you head on over to a local Korean BBQ restaurant and amaze them with your perfect pronunciation and understanding (one can hope!).

Included are some pictures from my most recent visit to a Korean BBQ.
Enjoy!

Cooking 갈비 on the grill.

Salad and some cooked eggs to go along with the meat.

Side dishes are everywhere!

No wonder people love Korean BBQ!

Christ! It's awesome! I love 갈비 which I suggested you eat in Korean restaraunt ( 한국 식당 ). 갈비is one of my favourite food in Korea. Unfortunately there are not good Korean restaraunt in here I live even London.

As you see we serve lots of vegitable s with 갈비 and you gonna wrap them up and put some 고추장 or 된장 on the wrap. Oh Jejus.

갈비. 갈비..갈비..........

I would dream on eating 갈비 tonight.

Thank you Alex!

I've never had 갈비 before, I think my being a vegetarian would have something to do with that! But whenever I go to korean restaurant (there's alot here in New York City) I either get 야채 군만두, 양념 두부, or 김치김밥.. of course with the obvious 반찬 of 밥, 깍무기, and 단무지. 맛있어요! 념념!

And now I can order in 한국어 by adding the 주새요! And then of course with 감사합니다/고맙습니다. Must always be polite!

Lol, 멜리사, I mess that up too.
It's hard because it sounds almost exactly the same. I kind of just wing it if I'm not sure and pick whichever one looks cooler for now. A 50/50 chance isn't bad! :D
